Midwives caring for women

Midwives caring for women … the way it has been since the beginning.

Labors of love Midwifery is a practice of Certified Professional Midwives (CPMs) and offer full-scope midwifery services to our clients.

CPMs are also LMs who are Licensed by DEHEC in SC who have graduated from an accredited midwifery education program and passed a national certification exam.

 In South Carolina, CPMs are also LMs who provide primary care for women for all their pregnancy.

 Midwives care for women with a special emphasis on pregnancy, childbirth, and gynecologic and reproductive health.

 Midwives perform comprehensive physical exams and work in collaboration with physicians and hospitals.

CPMs provide high-quality and compassionate care for expectant mothers and women of all ages, including … Prenatal and postpartum care Breastfeeding support.
